Salicylic Acid is a beta hydroxy acid (BHA) widely used in cosmetic and dermatological formulations for acne control, exfoliation, oil regulation, and pore cleansing.
Being lipophilic, it penetrates into pores to dissolve excess sebum, dead skin cells, and impurities, making it highly effective for acne-prone, oily, and congested skin.
