Dimethyl Isosorbide (DMI)

Dimethyl Isosorbide (DMI) is a high-purity, biodegradable solvent derived from isosorbide (sorbitol). It is widely used in cosmetics and pharmaceuticals as a carrier and penetration enhancer, improving the bioavailability of active ingredients such as vitamins, peptides, and brightening agents. DMI also reduces crystallization issues, enhances product stability, and enables controlled delivery of actives into the skin.
